NoteOrganizer
NoteOrganizer has been called "iTunes for notes". It is an advanced system for organizing and navigating your notes. A single view with the NoteOrganizer fully expanded is shown below. The Contents tab is active. In this mode it acts like a table of contents, with your Groups and notes toghether apphabetically.
The NoteOrganizer is shown below with the Index tab is active. In this mode the NoteOrganizer acts like an advanced index for your notes, except that unlike a traditional index, you can sort up to 5 columns in order or in reverse order, aphabetically or numerically. There are two main ways to use NoteOrganizer, Groups, which you can name and look like folders, and Categories, which have an icon, a color and a name. To modify Groups the NoteOrganizer must be open and the Groups tab must be showing. To make a new Group, select New Group (cmd+option G) from the Notes Menu. In addition to Groups, you can use Categories to further organize your notes. Some Categories we created are shown in the Category menu below. You can create your own Categories by selecting Edit Categories from the Notes Menu or from the bottom of the Category menu. This displays the Edit Categories dialog as shown below. A Category consists of a name, a color and an icon. Click on any Category color to change it using the Mac OS X color picker as shown below. Select an icon for the new Category as shown below.
