1.4.0 VERSION NOTES

NOTE: This version marks the end of TopXNotes iPod as a separate product. Starting with this release TopXNotes recognizes all software keys for either TopXNotes or TopXNotes iPod for Mac OS X. But, it contains complete Classic iPod support just as TopXNotes iPod did.

TopXNotes 1.4.0 has the following changes:
 
 MAJOR CHANGES
 • This "unity" version has a significant changes so it honors all previous serial numbers for TopXNotes and TopXNotes iPod.  TopXNotes iPod ceases to exist and TopXNotes now contains all iPod support.
 
NEW FEATURES

 • Insert  Date/Time
• Automatic Version Checking
 • Note Settings Dialog now contains notation to make locating a note hiding in a group hierarchy easier.
 
CHANGED FEATURES
 • iPod and QuickNotes Categories no longer trigger the "Multiple" label, but still work as expected in the Category tab of the NoteOrganizer
 • New Spell Checking preference in the Note panel
 • Double entry required for all passwords
 • Show as I type passwords optional

FIXED
 • Minor change in note loading so a note will continue to be read even if a null character is present

 • This version also will not require repeated serial number entry after free version updates.
