Tropical founder and lead engineer James Lee presented TopXNotes and TopXNotes iPod to the VMUG MUG, in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, on May 9. We used WebEx to share a screen that was projected on a screen using a MacBook Pro, and iChat for voice, which was picked up using the MacBook's speaker out and piped into the sound system. Despite a few technical glitches getting started, our first ever virtual MUG presentation got a nice round of cheers form those attending.

Unfortunately weather issues stranded him in Houston so long he arrived just when the meeting was over. Apologies to Ridge and the membership and our thanks for the accompdations and friendship. We will return! The very next day we visited the FABULOUS AMUG in Phoenix. The Arizona Mac User Group AMUG Thursday, Oct. 19 at 7:00 PM in Tempe. These great MUGs go the "extra mile" for presenters! They were kind enough to schedule us in back to back meetings, offer to pick us up at the airport, and even provide hotel accommodations. Not many other Mac User Groups ever are this welcoming to a small developer and we really want to thank them!
